Avato Systems Inc. (“Avato,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your personal information when you visit our website, interact with our forms, or use our online services.

What we do: Avato licenses software for customers to run within their own environments. We do not currently offer our product as a hosted SaaS. We provide online services to download and update software and to communicate with customers.

Information We Collect

  • Contact Information: First name, last name, and company email collected via embedded HubSpot forms and Calendly booking forms.
  • Usage/Technical Information: IP address, browser type, referral source, and other standard web log data captured by our servers.
  • Account & Session Data: Cookies used for session management when you create and log into a user account on our system.
  • Profile Information: When you create or update a profile in our online software distribution system, we collect required fields such as First Name, Last Name, Organization, Title, and Country. You may also optionally provide or update additional fields such as Office Phone, Mobile, Website, and LinkedIn profile link. This profile information is stored and managed in HubSpot on our behalf.
  • Billing & Account Information: We store customer account and billing information in secure third-party systems that support our financial and operational processes. These providers process data on our behalf in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

How We Use Information

  • Provide requested resources and services (e.g., downloads, updates, responses to inquiries).
  • Operate, maintain, and improve our website and online services.
  • Send marketing communications only where you have opted in and provided consent.
  • Analyze website usage to improve performance and user experience.
  • Maintain and manage your user profile, including allowing you to update or delete optional profile fields directly from your account settings.

We do not sell or rent personal information.

How We Share Information

We share information only with trusted service providers that process data on our behalf for the purposes described above:

  • HubSpot: CRM, forms, and email communications.
  • Google Analytics: Website traffic and performance analytics.
  • Calendly: Meeting scheduling.

Updates made in your profile are reflected in our CRM (HubSpot).

Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Optional profile fields (such as Office Phone, Mobile, Website, and LinkedIn) can be updated or deleted by you at any time from your account settings. When deleted, this information is removed from our active records in HubSpot.

Security

We apply technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
